La band VIA AD MORTEM ha rilasciato il 15 Maggio in formato digitale e fisico, l’album di debutto “Requiem I: Through the Path Over The Ruins” tramite la label Northern Darkness rec.
VIA AD MORTEM è la nuova realtà black metal italiana al suo debutto discografico con la rinata etichetta Northern Darkness rec. con l’ album “Requiem I: Through the Path Over The Ruins” che si muove tra la furia primordiale di Spite Extreme Wing e le atmosfere contemplative di Drudkh. Il progetto affonda le proprie radici
nel concetto di morte, non soltanto come evento fisico, ma come dissoluzione spirituale e intellettuale. Tradizioni esoteriche, cicli cosmici, necromanzia e rifiuto del modernismo si intrecciano in una visione sincretica che evita dogmi e sentenze.
“Requiem I: Through the Path Over The Ruins” non pretende di insegnare: vuole evocare. Nel caos del materialismo contemporaneo, i VIA AD MORTEM riaffermano il black metal come arte, spiritualità e filosofia.
L’album è stato registrato presso gli studi “Death Lab” di Mattia Nidini, il mix & mastering è curato sempre da Mattia Nidini.

On 15 May, the band VIA AD MORTEM released their debut album, “Requiem I: Through the Path Over The Ruins”, in both digital and physical formats via the Northern Darkness rec. label.
VIA AD MORTEM is the new Italian black metal act making its recording debut with the revived Northern Darkness Records label, with the album “Requiem I: Through the Path Over The Ruins”, which moves between the primordial fury of Spite Extreme Wing and the contemplative atmospheres of Drudkh. The project
has its roots in the concept of death, not merely as a physical event, but as spiritual and intellectual dissolution. Esoteric traditions, cosmic cycles, necromancy and a rejection of modernism intertwine in a syncretic vision that eschews dogma and judgement. “Requiem I: Through the Path Over The Ruins” does not seek to
teach: it seeks to evoke. Amidst the chaos of contemporary materialism, VIA AD MORTEM reaffirm black metal as art, spirituality and philosophy.
The album was recorded at Mattia Nidini’s “Death Lab” studios, with mixing and mastering also handled by Mattia Nidini.
